Sunrise 22nd July 2012

Dragged the usual bunch for a sunrise shoot at what I call "Sandfly Paradise" after having a record of more than 40 bites here. Tide was really low so had the opportunity to walk out to where the water would be usually and try something different for a change.

Sunrise 8th July 2012 - Gardens By the Bay

While exploring this newly opened park the day before, an idea dawned upon me to capture a sunrise like no other that I have seen so far. Went with the usual gang and this is what I managed to get.

National Day Parade Rehersal Fireworks 2012 - 21st July

Can't believe I camped alone for 6 hours to get the shots. Could have been a much shorter camping time.

Forumla Drift Singapore 2012 30 June

Fortunate enough to get a media pass for this event thanks to SPIN, I tried my hand at panning shots and capturing racing action again since the last try in 2009.

Sunset @ Chinese Gardens 23rd June 2012

Finally, a sunset shoot in the far western side of Singapore. The team of 7 had been longing to do a sunset shoot at the Chinese Gardens for quite some time and this was the day we finally went to do it.

Turned out to be 5 out of 7 of us that attended but we were surrounded by more than 10 other people shooting when the sun was setting. Glad we went early to do a proper set up.

Sunrise @ Bedok Reservoir 16th June 2012

Following a suggestion to shoot at the Bedok Reservoir, the usual gang of 5 east siders met up and attempted to capture the sunrise over the reservoir. It wasn't the best of sunrises though, as there were no clouds.

I did try a different composition, which I though worked out for me, minus the lack of sky details and color.

Bangkok Thailand, June 2012

Went to Bangkok with fellow SPIN members for food, shoot, and a bit of shopping.

Hokkaido, Japan - April 2012

Was lucky enough to be able to go to Hokkaido with my family, cousins, aunt and uncle. The scenery outside of Singapore never failed to capture my attention. The weather was not the best, but always better than back home.

These are some images taken during a 4 hour train ride from Otaru to Hakodate.

Sunset 1st April 2012

Change of location this time..

Back to one of the most common places for a sunset shoot due to the foreground. There were a few fellow photographers as well, some rather weird in their practices and some on first impression were more seasoned.

Still felt that I could have done better post processing with this picture especially with the area around the sun being blown out totally.

Sunset 24th March 2012

Back to the same place again after an outing with SPIN members. Instead of camping on the rocks where they were I went over to the beach alone initially, joined by 2 others later. The scene was nothing short of beautiful with lots of details and cloud trails.
