A Morning at Arab Street
I was lucky to have put off a trip to Arab Street to today instead of yesterday.. The rain was terribly heavy and merciless.. The sky cleared close to noon today and the walk around was somewhat interesting.. As long as I tried to make something out of it..

The Definitive Moment
Went for a sunrise shoot with a fellow member from SPIN. Spent quite a good while searching for a spot to have a proper composition. The sunrise itself was beautiful, the colors varied from pink to purple to orange with a tinge of red. With my subject of the shoot in mind, I waited for the just the right moment and hoped for the best. This is the result.
Something I missed out before..
Found an old photo that I took last year.. the other version of it seems less "properly composed"... so I dug this one out instead..

Impromtu Sunset shoot @ NSRCC, and the Price to Pay..
Caught a glimpse of what was potentially a great sunset while driving home from work, I rushed home, got my gear and went on to NSRCC to attempt a good capture... However it was AGAIN dark clouds at the lower end, spoiling the sky... The tide was at almost its lowest and I could walk out to the part of the sea usually inaccessible.. But I thought the sand actually had a nice continuous pattern to it and instead of the rocks I used to compose with, it was the sand and the patterns on it, just like I did back at Changi Beach last year. Why was there a Price to Pay? Cos I had more than 20 sand fly bites on both my legs during this shoot... seriously painful and irritating..
Sunset @ Labrador Park - Over the Barrier, Over the Rocks, Over Entusiastic
After a seriously Hellish (pun intended) experience with SPIN members and Intro Class students at Haw Par Villa, we proceeded to Labrador Park for a sunset shoot.. not much of a sun really.. dark clouds at the lower part of the sky dampened what seemed to be promising.. but nevertheless, we tried doing stunts as usual... climbed over the barrier, onto the rocks, set up tripod, and sprained my finger after slipping and trying to break my fall..
